THE JOY AND CONNECTION THAT COMES FROM A SIMPLE ACT OF KINDNESS…

Freddie of Wynwood is a short film based on a true story that took place in Wynwood, a Miami neighborhood that was transitioning from being one of the roughest to one of the most up and coming trendy neighborhoods of the city. The art collectors, the fashionable, and affluent, would go to Wynwood to enjoy the massive art murals, galleries, and new restaurants. Simultaneously, many of Miami’s homeless still lived in its empty lots.

Freddie of Wynwood explores the dichotomy between these two worlds. This story  exemplifies how stereotypes and appearances are often inaccurate, and makes us reevaluate our prejudices on how we see others. Through Olivia’s  journey, we release the limiting beliefs that separate us from others, and experience the joy that can come from a simple act of kindness.
